Dynamite found in Tipton County barn | News
TIPTON COUNTY, TN (WMC-TV) - More dynamite was found Saturday in Tipton County.
A man found the dynamite in his barn. He brought it by truck to the Charleston Fire Department near the Haywood County line.
Shelby County Sheriff's deputies assisted in securing and stabilizing the dynamite.
Dynamite was also discovered in Tipton County in June. Four cases were found in a barn near the intersection of Camp Road and Gilt Edge Road.
The explosives were 20 years old and leaking nitroglycerine.
Investigators burned the dynamite on the scene because they were unable to move it.
