Operation Jump Start course offers insight into business boost | Business

Become part of an elite group of entrepreneurs who realize their dream of small business ownership by gaining insights to help jump start an idea or give an existing business a needed boost.

Southwest Tennessee Development District is offering a six-week course called Operation JumpStart: First Step, which is a nationally-recognized, highly successful training model delivered to individuals considering starting or expanding a small business. The Operation JumpStart: First Step curriculum teaches participants essential small business planning and preparation skills with practical hands-on training.

The program, delivered Tuesday and Thursday evenings for six weeks, will be offered at the Southwest Tennessee Development District office, 102 E. College St., Jackson, Tennessee. Classes will begin in late October.
