Ride to be held in honor of Munford soldier injured in Afghanistan | Community Spirit

Several months ago CPL Christian Brown was severely injured by an IED in Afghanistan. 

CPL Brown is a local Marine raised in Munford, TN. 

Christian is currently at Walter Reed Army Medical Center getting treatment and therapy. 

A ride will be held March 24th in Christian's honor.

All proceeds from this Honor Ride will go to Christian's family to help with expenses incurred since their stay in Washington began three months ago.

The Ride will start at the Recycle Biker Shop in Collierville and end at the Firehouse in Munford, TN.

Registration starts at 10:00am with kickstands up at 12:00pm.

Cost is $10.00 per bike and $5.00 per passenger.

All vehicles are welcome.

Hamburgers, hotdogs, sodas and chips will be available for purchase at the firehouse after the ride, plus a 50/50 drawing.

There will be newspaper and TV Crews during the event.

There will be plenty of parking according to the Mayor and Fire chief, so please make your plans to attend.
