Tipton County deputies looking for person responsible for home invasion | Crime
On April 3rd, Tipton County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 100 block of Junior Drive in Covington regarding a home invasion.
Deputies responded and determined that two black males wearing hoodies and dark clothing knocked on the door of the residence and forcibly entered the residence after the door was answered.
The robbers were armed with a shotgun and locked the victim and her two juvenile children in the garage after ransacking the home.
During the robbery the suspects took 2 cellular phones, a Playstation 3 and 3 digital cameras.
The victim and her children were not injured in the incident.
The suspects fled on foot from the residence. Just prior to the home invasion a neighbor had reported a suspicious white vehicle in the neighborhood.
Detectives have leads in the case but no arrests have been made at this time.
