Restaurants warned about bogus inspectors | Crime

The health department says fake inspectors are calling to arrange restaurant inspections and then demanding payment for the inspections.

The Tennessee Department of Health is warning restaurant owners and managers of fake health inspectors.

That's not how it works!

Real inspectors don't announce when they're coming and they never demand or collect payment for inspections.

Most of the reports are from restaurants specializing in Asian cuisine.
