Tipton Co. Sheriff's Dept. looking for home invasion suspects

Tipton County Sheriff’s Office Detectives have identified the two suspects in a home invasion robbery.  At about 3:50 PM on 11 March 2013 deputies were summoned to the 10 block of Robin Hood Circle in Millington (Tipton County) regarding two armed males that entered the residence and demanded money from two victims, Lucus Miracle and Jeremy Wyatt. The robbers held the victims at gunpoint until the residence was searched and the duo fled with approximately $611.00 in cash and a firearm.  The victims were not injuried in the robbery.

Have you seen the trailer belonging to Munford's Boy Scout Troop 66?

It was stolen from the Munford First United Methodist Church parking lot sometime between last Wednesday night and last Saturday morning.

It is a 6X12' white enclosed trailer with a V front end/with silver diamond plate on the front, has a sticker on the back that says Alamo Safari Park.

The trailer had all of their camping gear inside and the troop was planning a camp out this weekend.

Woman indicted for TennCare fraud involving 'doctor shopping'

A Tipton County woman has been indicted in for TennCare fraud involving “doctor shopping,” or using TennCare to go to multiple doctors in a short time period to obtain controlled substances.

The Office of Inspector General, announced Wednesday the arrest of Faith Marie De’Forge, 50, of Drummonds.

De’Forge is charged with four counts of fraudulently using TennCare to obtain controlled substances by “doctor shopping" according to the State of Tennessee Office of Inspector General

De’Forge willfully and with the intent to deceive failed to disclose to her doctor that she had seen other physicians and received prescriptions for Hydrocodone, with the either the clinical visits or the medications being paid for by TennCare.

“The unauthorized use and abuse of prescription drugs is a serious public health problem in the State of Tennessee,” said Inspector General Deborah Faulkne.
