West TN DA presents drug danger video to kids
West Tennesseee District Attorney Mike Dunavant presented the "Deceptive Danger" educational program to the students at East Junior High School in Fayette County on Tuesday.  "It is important to warn our young people of the dangers of prescription and synthetic drug abuse. The students were great!" the DA said.  "Deceptive Danger" is a statewide campaign to fight the rising rates of prescription medication and synthetic drug abuse among Tennessee’s youth.

The campaign is called Deceptive Danger, because Tennessee’s youth is deceived into thinking that any substance prescribed by a doctor or purchased in a convenience store is safe.
