Photo Gallery | Drug store thief holds workers at gunpoint

(WMC-TV) - Investigators are searching for the thief who held a pair of drugstore workers at gunpoint while he stole OxyContin recently.

Covington police say the thief robbed the Rite Aid just before 9 a.m. on August 2.

Two workers told investigators that the man jumped the pharmacy counter and pointed a gun at them. Then he ordered a female employee to give him the drugs before he eventually fled fro the store's rear exit.

The suspect was caught on the store's surveillance cameras and investigators hope someone can identify him.
