Every day they risk their lives to protect and serve you. And now you can help protect the K9 officers of Tipton County.
The Tipton County Paws and Claws is raising money for protective vests for K9 officers in Tipton County. The group is doing this through an online campaign.
According to the group, only one of the seven K9 officers who serve the area has a protective vest. Money raised during the campaign would help fund the life-saving equipment for the K9 Officers.
The officers that will benefit from the Tipton County K9 Vest Project are:
—Tipton County Officer Williams & K9 Officer Ero
—Tipton County Officer Arender & K9 Officer Jake
—Tipton County Officer Payne & K9 Officer Kira
—Tipton County Officer Wicker & K9 Officer Barry
—Covington Officer Gann & K9 Officer Bella
—Munford Officer Hugues & K9 Officer Kilo
The vests cost approximately $1,000.00 each. For more information on how you can help visit the website.
